Refresh Your Eyes & Clear Your Vision at Bayside Eye Care
If you’re suffering from dry eye symptoms, we have solutions to offer. Lifestyle changes and eye drops may ease dry eye symptoms, but do not treat the root cause of the disease. We can provide more intensive care options.
Our Treatments
We use a variety of treatments to combat both the symptoms and causes of dry eye. These include:
Radio Frequency (Tempsure)
While traditional treatments can offer short-term relief, Radio Frequency (RF) treamtents (TempSure) goes a step further by targeting the root cause of dry eye—especially Meibomian Gland Dysfunction (MGD). This gentle, non-invasive treatment uses controlled heat to warm the skin around your eyes, helping to clear blocked glands and support healthy tear production.
One of the best parts? There’s little to no downtime and many patients notice a difference after just one session, with continued improvement as they complete their treatment plan.
IPL Treatment (Icon)
To truly relieve dry eyes, it’s essential to address the underlying sources of inflammation. By targeting lid inflammation caused by conditions like blepharitis, allergies, and rosacea, IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) helps clear blocked meibomian glands and stimulate healthy oil (meibum) production.
With our IPL treatment (Icon), we can target and gently treat those areas without harming the surrounding skin. And because IPL addresses the root cause, the improvements are not just effective—they’re sustainable.
LipiFlow
LipiFlow Therapy helps remove blockages in the meibomian glands and stimulates an increase in lipid production which stabilizes the tear film and helps prevent rapid tear film evaporation.
AB Max BlepharoExfoliation
AB Max BlepharoExfoliation, designed to treat debris and plaque build-up around the base of the eyelashes. This treat is indicated when an eyelid inflammation called blepharitis is causing dry eye symptoms.
Biometrics
Amniotic Membrane Therapy is one of the latest advancements in eye care, offering powerful healing benefits for patients dealing with severe dry eye, corneal defects and dystrophies, scratches, and more.
Delivered through a small, contact lens-like device containing an amniotic membrane graft, this treatment uses the membrane’s natural regenerative properties to soothe irritation, improve vision, and support the healing of the cornea.
